That day, we chatted for hours.
We talked about people, we talked about our lives.
This is then I realise how much i cant let go.
My years in Cedar have been enriching and fulfilling.
the chances cedar had given me, the friends i've bonded with, the care and concern showered by the teachers, the sumptuous canteen food that fills my stomach, late nights doing proposals, rushing powerpoints, abt only 4hrs of sleeping span up to..
the ups and downs basically.

Humans always work this way, they never realise how much something means to them till they lose it.
How i wish for a cedar jc.
if i were to choose over again.. Cedar would be my... 1st. of course!
haha Long Live Cedar! (:

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree,
Merry, merry king of the bush is he,
Laugh, Kookaburra, Laugh, Kookaburra,
Gay your life must be...

oh How i envy mister kookaburra!

Today is the eve of Christmas..

To make this night special, my mum, sis and I carried out a huge operation in the kitchen. We first made a trip to the library to get a copy of the receipe of a 'sirloin steak with horse-radish sauce', and later, to the supermarket to get all the possible ingredients we could find. After all, It was our first attempt to meddle with a variety of spices.

In all, the bill went up to about 50 bucks. (which was roughly the cost of our dinner at pastamania the day before!) Bursting with earger and excitement to start the tedious operation, we hurried home..

The preparation progress..

And ta-da..Dinner's done!
Had some red wine to go with the steak too. (btw, i realised that chocolates go well with red wine!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL! ((:

The usual 4 of us went to orchard for a mini xmas shopping trip. Despite the unpredictable showers since last week, orchard is still in its usual buzz. Heavy human traffic clog the escalators, and people were sqeezing like packed sardines along the underpass. Then, we came across a shop named 'everyone is beautiful' and we began taking snapshots of shopfronts and xmas trees.

This is jazzy, me and leeza infront on the dazzling taka tree!
This season, 'SALE' seemed to be the most attractive word to hang on the shopfronts. Sales are prevalent everywhere- even up to 70% off (mambo)!

This photo is taken off the MANGO glass window. Can you see our reflections? x)

It's a pity sheena had to leave early, or not we would have taken a cgtt gang photo! I'll miss table tennis as we all move on to our new environment. But I'll miss you guys even more. =)

1. I'm BACK! It has been a long stay away from home! Kampong Hut wasn't THAT bad after all. Not only is it kept real clean and tidy, its air-con worked perfectly fine. Communal toilets were really well maintained; kudos goes to the maintenance uncle! Occasionally, we even have uninvited guests-the peacocks to our humble abode. We stayed in Tuas B then. Loved the whole layout of huts. This well infested with mosquitoes back to basics environment set us slapping our limbs through the night too!

2. Played monopoly and cards in the small little cosy hut dead in the night. I was the winner! with $158 880 worth of inheritance (: Hotels after hotels were built...
3. We met many different kinds of people in Sentosa, and some were really friendly. We chatted with almost every driver we met. Thank you Mr Bala for the tram rides; Thank you uncle for cleaning up the huts; Thank you CJC people for the charcoal, and many others. I love the beach. I would have loved that day even more if not for the wound inflicted during my camp on mon ): Attempted to play beach volleyball too. haha ATTEMPTED. If the end, we lent our ball to this grp of pple who used it to play basketball. >=/

4. Ate Subway for dinner. The portion is humongous dont you think so? But we really needed vegetables to keep a stable diet then. well oh well.

5. Later we checked out of sentosa kampong hut and celebrated belle's bday at the beach for a weeny short while. happy birthday belle! (: (you looked cool in the sunglasses!)

5. Checked in to Raffles town club after that immediately. The room was posh and comfortable. It seems as if we entered a different dimension of the world; The transition of kampong hut to the posh club. The bathtub had jaccuzi even. Watched movies after movies, shows after shows in the room. Pride and prejudice, abnormal beauty, in her shoes etc etc. Later, we changed into our bathrobes and settled for the night watching midnight horror movie. [deathnet.com] It was a rather sadistically vapid movie that could pass off as a sedative.

6. Woke up early in the morning and had an Oriental breakfast. It was a disappointing meal. Both the quality and quantity of the foods do not demand such an expensive bill! It consisted of ONE harkow, ONE siew mai, ONE bao, a bowl of plain porridge and our yam cake was changed to fish cakes!! These cost us $8.50++. Went for a steam bath and sauna after that. They feel so good. :D

7. Thank you sheena, leeza, jazzy, jaime, felicia etc etc for being such wonderful companions throughout! THANK YOU everyone who helped making this stay a memorable one too! ((:

1. Had Prom a few nights ago. The actual night was rather hilarious, seeing how everyone changed after a mini "plastic surgery"! Prom is an expensive occasion alright. most spent ard 200+! goodness. Well, hope everything was worth the price (: Btw, loved the crazy hairdo the hairdresser gave me!

2. Went to Fish Leong's mini concert held in the max pavillion ytd with superpartner no.1! Thank you ((: Fish's vocals was fascinating. No doubt she is some Asian's best chi singer or some sort! Her mtv was rather cute- a love story amongst high sch students. Due to the theme of her new album, the organisers had a mini competition for the most romantic "kissing photo". But please, can you couples please restrain yourselves? Superpartner and I had an eyesore of obscene behaviour by young couples =( poor eyes of ours!

3. Spent the whole day watchin a korean film- MY GIRL. It is recommended! I feel that this film is comparable to GONG. Perhaps even better. Why didnt mediacorp buy it?? It is more realistic too. In fact, i cant really stand unrealistic films.
What a realist i am.
Whoosh! 16 hrs straight! my gosh. Was temporarily a couch potato. No. I am a couch potato. The tv is such a good invention. (:

4. Whee! will be away from home for ard 4 days. It's table tennis week! (: wish me luck on sat. Janica.. i hope i can pull it off! =S

20 November, 2006

1. YAY! finally urban-concept's done. :D

2. O level's finally OVER. Say goodbye to the days of mugging! Sleepless nights and dark eye rings i hate.

3. The much awaited Prom is coming! Didn't know i would actually spend this much on an event. =/ Many thanks to my sponsorship = my mummy! i wouldn't be able to afford such luxury w/o her help :) Went shopping at Vivo city, orchard, bugis and tampines recently for dresses, shoes and accessories.

Orchard is still as crowded as ever even though the linkway's closed for construction. The inconvenience didnt actually pose a problem to the consumers! The attractiveness of the goods still won the favour of the shoppers afterall.

My trip to Vivo was way more interesting. Went there with the usual 6. After some shopping, we went onboard a SHIP. It's said to be 2 years younger than the Titanic, and still travels worldwide. A book fair was held on the ship. It was an interesting experience overall albeit a little humid onboard.

A wading pool is located right at the top of the mall. There, 7 excited schoolgirls took off their soaks and shoes and hurried themselves into the pool. It was quite disturbing though to see an increase in the number of teens smoking. The dimly lit corridors of the wading pool also make a perfect hideout for couples. Perhaps its due to the growing influence of the west, couples make public displays of affection so very indiscreetly that garnered stares of many people.

4. Had a class chalet the next day. 7 of us went on a cycling craze! Cycled at least 10 times along the roads. haha. Midnight cycling was most exciting! However stars arent quite visible that night, and we ended up having nerd talk about how lightning occurs and abt the physics of waves. Unfortunately, some mishaps happened along the way near the huge drain that got firemen and police cars sealing off the area. (i hope the person's alright =\)

5. Packed out the secondary 3 & 4 stuff from my desk. Was rather sad to part with my notes =( Well, 旧的不去,新的不来!
